Gamenite
Art3mis & Parzival by GUNSHIP | 4m 54s
Pixel Art: Genuine Human, Gyhyom, Cryoclaire, waneella, Pixel Jeff
Ready Player One is one of my favorite fiction novels and this song by Gunship is a dream collaboration. Gamenite is a riff of the Gunship original music video (watch on YouTube) that I made inspired by a Friday night pastime of playing video games with friends late into the night.

Hanami for my Honeymoo
Rain - Shichi Kotonoha No Niwa (Motohiro Hata) | 4m 40s
Pixel Art: SeerLight, waneella, lennart butz
This song is from Makoto Shinkai’s film, Garden of Words. His films have always left a lasting impression on me but this song especially so. I paired it with visuals and notations of the memorable places me and my wife visited during our multi-month long trips to Japan we took during our honeymoon.

Let’s Leave This City Together
This song is reminiscent of my time living in Vietnam and speaks of a city strife with pollution and noise. So much so that we dream of the days we can leave the city for the idyllic countryside. This conflict exists in many places between life in the hectic, crowded city set against the slow, simple life in country.

What Will You Leave Behind?
What Will You Leave Behind by Max LL (feat. Maude Plante-Husaruk) | 2m 34s
Pixel Art: 1041uuu (豊井), Camille Unknown
This is an absolutely moving song from the soundtrack of an unforgettable experience playing Spiritfarer. In this game, you operate a vessel to care for and bring those near the end of their lives to the eternal gates. Similarly, I attempted to capture these emotions regarding life and preparing for the end.

The Wave Has Come
Ah puh (어푸 (Ah puh)) by IU | 3m 19s
Pixel Art: Tofu, Faxdoc, Pixel Boy Jake, Kye Cheng, noaqh, low resolution boy, forrestmari
This is IU x Studio Ghibli with undertones revolving around the theme of climate change. This is my favorite IU song and I wanted to make something silly and upbeat for a change but then I had the idea of creating ironic visuals of a changing world with rising sea levels.
